Consultation is free of charge in both senses and users may download documents and copy pages as long as mention is made of the source, together with the date of the download or copying, this being on the condition that the content is neither altered nor distorted. Under no circumstances is authorisation granted for the marketing of any of the website content by third parties, regardless of the format or manner of distribution which this may take.

With respect to the content of this website, in no case shall it be understood that any licence is being granted or any waiver or transfer of rights effected, either wholly or in part, as regards intellectual and industrial property rights.

The participants in the World Forum of Catastrophe Programmes do not accept legal liability for any harm or prejudicial consequences arising to users from access to and the use of both data and other content on the website.

 

6.- Privacy policy

We inform you that, pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable legislation in effect, the controller of your personal data is the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros E.P.E., which has the tax identification code Q282611E and is domiciled at Paseo de la Castellana no. 32, 28046, Madrid (Spain).

We process your data for the purpose of being able to register your user as a member of the website and providing you with the credentials to access the private area. This processing is made lawful via performance of the contract between you and the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros E.P.E. was entered into by accepting the terms and conditions of use of the website.

Your data shall only be passed on to third parties in the event of some legal obligation and shall be stored for as long as you remain a member of our website.

Registered users likewise undertake to keep their passwords and identification codes secret, as well as to advise the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros E.P.E. in the event of any loss or theft thereof or unauthorised access.

While such notification is not given, the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros E.P.E. remain exempt from any liability that might arise from inappropriate use of such passwords and identification codes by unauthorised third parties.

7.- Copyright

8.- Applicable law and jurisdiction

The terms and conditions which govern this website and any relations resulting from it are protected by Spanish jurisdiction. With respect to any dispute that derives from access to, or the existence, utilisation or content of the website, both the user and the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros E.P.E. waive any other jurisdiction to which they may be entitled and shall subject themselves exclusively to that of the courts of Madrid.

If any part of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, said part shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable law, while the other terms and conditions shall remain fully valid and effective.
